Today’s image depicts a hunt supporter tackling a stag in a river. One way to kill a stag at bay is to push its head underwater in order to drown it. Chasing stags and deer with hounds becomes legal again if the Hunting Act is repealed; help us make sure it isn’t repealed.

I remember seeing this photograph as a teenager, later the video of another stag being drowned. The images have always haunted me. I still wonder what mental illness, or pathological abnormality, the people doing it suffered from. Cameron and Hague should be forced to confront the images, and asked to explain their liking for what they see.
