A cause to fight for

Our Chief Executive, Douglas Batchelor, is attending the Fabian Society’s New Year Conference at Imperial College London today and will speak as part of the ‘Democracy Den’ session on why the hunting ban is ‘a cause to fight for’.

Speaking alongside David Lammy MP and other senior politicians, he will remind delegates that the ban on hunting hares, deer and foxes with dogs has the support of more than three quarters of the UK population. Only a very small minority support repeal of the Hunting Act, despite the noise they make.

The League’s Keep Cruelty History campaign allows people across the country to find out how candidates in their constituency say they would vote in a free vote on repeal.
