Are you in the North East?

Our local group in Durham is working tirelessly to ensure that members of the public know that some politicians want to bring back the cruelty of hunting with dogs for sport. Now is the time for us to be out there, highlighting this issue, giving the public the information on where their local candidates stand on repeal of the Hunting Act.

Can you help the Durham group collect petition signatures and highlight League campaigns to the wider public? If you can, come along tomorrow (Saturday 13th February) to the footbridge at the bottom of Silver Street in Durham from 10:00am – 2:00pm.

You can meet our Durham group coordinator, Lynne, help out on the stand, chat about campaigns or just show your support for our campaigns. We’d love to see you there.

If you’re not in the North East, why not consider joining one of our other regional groups, or even starting a group yourself? There’s more information on our website.

We have a member who covers Durham and knows Lynn but received this too late unfortunately. I’m sure they will make contact later though. Good luck tomorrow!
