£60 for a night’s carnage, anyone?

The League is appalled to discover that a ‘fox shooting’ trip is being sold on ebay. The seller is charging a minimum of sixty quid for “a night’s rabbit/fox hunting with an experienced guide”. This disgusting offer is accompanied by some pictures of dead foxes and rabbits to show what the outcome of a night’s shooting might be.

Other disturbing items for sale on ebay include DVDs with footage of foxes being torn apart. One seller promises some “excellent footage of the dogs on the foxes and the great speed at which they bring them down.” One can only imagine the kind of sick individual who would enjoy watching this kind of footage.

The League has issued a complaint to ebay about the advertisement of a fox shooting trip on its site. Let’s hope they take the same responsible action as did Facebook two weeks ago.

I just clicked on the link in your message and got this:

“This listing (120545631075) has been removed, or this item is not available. Please check that you’ve entered the correct item number
Listings that have ended 90 or more days ago will not be available for viewing.”

So hopefully this disgusting ad has been taken down thanks to The Leagues complaint

Aunty kill talking about disgusting things it might interest you to note that I wrote to Douglas Batchelor about your post concerning pushing someone off a cliff. It was in very poor taste and has been removed.

This is meant to be an open forum. Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean it should be removed. I don’t like your incessant rants about breaking the law, but they are still here. Allow people the freedom that LACS obviously allow you.

Giles, I know you complained, so did someone else…have you an alias…and I know my comment was removed, so what? Was it in any poorer taste than when you take exception to something that someone writes and come right back at them with a taunt that you’ll be out the following day with your dogs or whatever it is you do for kicks? Is anything about the despicable subject hunting in anything other than poor taste?
Tell the headteacher on me if you don’t like what I say, I live in a country where I can still say what I want and write what I want, even if it offends someone’s sensibilities like yours and gets removed, I still have the right to say it and the satisfaction of knowing you have to have read it to have complained about it.
